Ann Lucinda CROFT, b 3 Feb. 1803 d 1 Oct. 1868 married Elisha LEAGUE 10 Mar. 1821 Greenville County, SC (I have their descendants.) Mary "Polly" CROFT, b c 1820 d 3 Apr. 1888 Greenville Co. (daughter of George CROFT) married (1) Joshua P. LEAGUE 27 Oct. 1843 (I have their descendants also.) (2) James Robert LEAGUE c 1855 The family home was on what is now known as the Jonesville Road, northeast of Simpsonville, Greenville County. In the 1850 Census there was a free Negro named James Valentine, a blacksmith, listed in his household. In 1880 there lived in his household W. J. Ashmore, niece of Joshua, age 17, and Thomas J. League, his nephew age 17. I hope this information fits into your family history.
