Three Rivers Historical Society in Hemingway, S. C. has quite a
bit of information about The Cribb Family of that area.    Their address is
414 N. Main Street, Hemingway, S. C. 29554.  They are on-line, but I cannot
find their web site right now.  I know some Cribbs and will try to get in
touch with them and give them your letter.
