Can anyone out there tell me about John Craven who appears on the 1860 census
index in Colleton Co.  Does he have a son Lawrence born in 1858?  Lawrence
Craven is my husband's grandfather.  He came by himself, I assume, to Douglas
Co. OR. and married Ella Josephine Rose.  He died in Annacortes, Skaget Co.,
WA in abt 1917.  If someone has access to the 1860 census, could you please
look at John for me.  I believe Lawrence may be the son of John, as his
grandson was named Jarvis B. Craven, which is a name of a Craven in Colleton
Co., he may have been Lawrence's grandfather.

Any help would be appreciated.
