Subject: CRAIG, HUEY, BARBER Ire>SC>IL Rev. Martin's ships Ire>SC 1772 From: Cyprine3 Date: February 21, 1999 Does anyone have any info about the Scotch-Irish migration from N. Ireland to SC circa 1770's. I have heard there were five shiploads of people who were led by the Rev. Martin (seeking religious freedom - Presbyterians) to SC. I believe my CRAIG, HUEY and BARBER ancestors may have been among them -- my branch eventually went on to S. Illinois by 1840s. Anyone else have connections to this group?
