Subject: Cox From: TOMMY COX Date: March 23, 2000 I found on the 1870 census a 96 year old Samuel Cox and his wife Elizabeth 76 years old. Samuel said he was born in North Carolina and Elizabeth said she was born in South Carolina. Can anyone tell me anything about this family. My G-Grandfather David Cox was living beside them with some Colsons'. He was a farm labor he was 16 years old. I would like to know there relationship. This was the 1870 census of Hillsbourgh CO in Florida. Samuel Cox 1804- + Elizabeth 1824- I am also interested in any info on David Cox 1854-1947, wife Theodosia 1860- children Samuel, John, James, Mollie, Ruby, Matilda and Edith.
