Subject: Court Clerk Initials - late 1700's/early 1800's From: SLinAZ3 Date: March 22, 1998 Would someone be so kind as to tell me what the initials that appeared by the court clerk's name stood for. They appear to be "W.Q." and "J.Q." and appeared after the clerk's name where he had attested to someone signing a document.
