 And they still have a packing house here in Lake Placid.
 Also my Step-Father
 Nathan Wesley Newton Sr. b. 12/7/1905  still living worked there
 also for one year before being transfered to Avon Park to the first
 Canning Plant for the company.
 Could you be of assistance to me and maybe me to you??

Gail - Eagle Lake is/was a little town or area on the south side of Eagle Lake
(a big lake that would really show up on a map).  It is SSW of Winter Haven,
off of Hwy 17.  I am not sure if they would have had their own census in 1920.
Actually, I think it was more like a little town then than now, with a huge
dock going out into the Lake and a big Pavillion for picnics.  I remember
going there for picnics as a child.  
The Polk Co Genealogical library is located in the old Courthouse in Bartow,
and they are doing well, now. and have redecorated and freshened up the place
nicely.  have a pretty good asstment of things in there.  Call information in
Bartow and ask for the Library and call to see if they have that census there.
If so, I will  try and look up for you next time I am down (not sure when, was
there today) - or - it is not that far from Lk Placid and would be worth a
trip over to see what they might have.
