Helen, I started the Benjamin Major thing... Somewhere in a vast array =
of papers, I have that information.. Give me until the end of my six =
grandchildren's spring break... Wed or thurs. of next week and I will =
post the information...As I recall Benjamin left the Camden area... Much =
of Andreas collection are owned by LDS... I imagine that it is  too... I =
forget who he was researching for but I think it was Faith Clayton of =
Pickens/Easley..Benjamin has not been linked to the John Majors of =
Greenwood/Newberry, Pendleton District.  I may be confusing him anyway =
so I promise to post in about five days...  I have very bad senior =
moments and I may have been mistaken... I hope not     Anne

I am sorry, I find I made a mistake when I said the Andrea Collection =
was at
the South Carolina Historical Society about ten years ago.  I should =
have
said at the South Caroliniana Library, University of South Carolina,
Columbia, SC 19208.  Ten years ago I copied information about the Jonas
Griffin will from Roll 58.  Must be on microfilm.  Does someone know =
where
to rent this microfilm and an index for it?
