after years on genealogy list I have found that it's worth
the time to open and scan email... you can't always list all
the surnames in the subject line.

Some people list main family names, but it you check out the
info you can find people who married into the family, or the
surnames of in-laws'  maiden names, etc. not listed in
subject lines. So, I go with the flow and scan it all.

... but then... I don't have a life either!
