Hi Folks,
I'm searching for info about my nightmare line! I have hit a brick wall
trying to get info about Balaam CORLEY and I just don't know where to turn!
Any help you kind folks can provide would be most appreciated.

Balaam (Baley) CORLEY was born about 1803 in SC. He married Mariah ?, b.
abt 1805 in SC or GA. Balaam is listed in the 1830 Edgefield Census and was
in Jasper Co., MS by 1840. About 1855, he bought land in Jones Co., MS and
lived there until he died, before 1870.

Balaam and Mariah had the following children:
Balaam Corley, Jr., b. 1833
Patsy A. Corley, b. March 19, 1835
Franklin Corley, b. 1837
Mary Corley, b. 1840
Ann Eliza Corley, b. 1842
William G. Corley, b. 1844

Does anyone know who Balaam's parents were? I'm beginning to believe that
he just appeared out of nowhere! These CORLEYs sure are a tough bunch to
sort out!
