Actually, the original message you mentioned was posted on February 24, 1998,
rather than in April.  In early April I created our web archives for the Forum
email.  In doing so, I posted all the past messages for the entire year. 
Everything from January through March that was posted in April shows up in the
web archives with an April date because that is when I posted it to the
archives.  

At https://mailinglists.rootsweb.com/listindexes/ you can find another copy
of each message.  This may help in locating the email address of persons in the
Jan-Mar messages.

Hi list,

I just joined today and from what I have seen so far I think I am going to like
it here.  I am researching  Brock, Teal/Teel, Copeland, of Chesterfield Co S C  
and Anson Co NC.  Also Sweatt, Copeland, Peavy/Pevy, Coward, from Marlboro Co S
C and Richmond Co NC, and Ellis from Lancaster Co S C .  Have information, will
gladly exchange.

We have just started a Genealogy Society in Chesterfield  Co. S C our next
meeting is 2nd Sunday in March at the LIbrary in Chesterfield, 2pm you are
invited.

Also some other names I have limited info on is Parker, Sellers/Sellars, Rivers,
Davis, White, L:ee, from C'field and Anson  Counties.
