I was searching for an ancestor in North Carolina.I always put that I am
From Summerville S.C. when I look in other states or countries.a man
contacted me he wanted to knw where the confederate grave yard was in
Sumerville becaus he wanted to visit his ancesters grave. I put a query
in John Rigdons list .I was contacted by qmsgtboots. who went out of his
way to help me.he knew where the overgrown graveyard was,with its
overgrown graves of unknown soldiers . but he had no names .Mr Fox gave
me some information from his grandmothers bible. and Sgt Boots found out
the company. Now Mr Fox has a place to go and visit his ggrandfather
after all these years of searching.and Sgt Boots is going to take him
there. I want Sgt Boots to know how much we appreciatte his kindness.I
have not been able to reach John Rigdon. so I hope he reads this. the
reason I wanted to send this to you all is. if you have members of your
family that were in the N.C. Infantry from Person Co. company C. and you
have not been able to find them. they could be in this cemetery.   Jean
