Confederate Flags - Galinahist
Subject: Confederate Flags

While working on my web site, The Civil War in South Carolina, I came across a
newspaper article which appeared in the Charleston Mercury, November 16, 1860
describing a number of the flags which were appearing around the city.

Several of the flags contained latin phrases. If you can help with
translation, please drop me a note.

Thanks for your help.
