By his first wife, Alice Brown, he had one known son, James Monroe Collins Jan 2, 1829 Stewart Co., Tn. By his second wife, Anna Unknown, he had four children: John, Benjamin, Francis (male) and Louisa. Living near Francis in Stewart Co. was a William Collins that seems to have migrated from S.C. at the same time Francis did. William Collins below could be the father of Francis. Collins, William of Abbeville Co., SC 1. Daughter # 1 about 1800 (this is possibly a male because of the either gender name, Francis) 2. Son # 1 about 1800-10 3. Daughter # 2 about 1800-10 4. Son # 2 about 1810-20 5. Daughter # 3 about 1810-20 6.
