Subject: COKER INFO From: John Michael O`Melia Date: February 22, 1998 Hello rooters: History and genealogy are sides of the same coin. You cannot have one without the other. If you think so, you have not learn a thing about ancestor searching. Our ancestors did not just pop up or were beamed down. Genealogy is not a narrow lane. Just remember that the narrow lane you are traveling on someone before you had to put it there. To find one`s ancestors tree in the middle of the woods you must get some idea where to look. Information furnished by those who have traveled that narrow lane before you should help you to look in the right area for the right answers. Remember the golden rule of genealogy, you must have sources to make it so. Sources comes from information. Information is found in more than one place. I for one, do enjoy reading information. Information received on this list is appropriate for intended area. We are on the SC list. Coker seems to be providing SC information. Some folks never can see the forest for the trees.
