Looking for birth or death information on my gg-grandparents Robert
CLINKSCALES and CELIA NANCE. Also would like information on John and James
CLINKSCALES  - white brothers who owned slaves in Abbeville, SC.  I believe
James owned Robert.   

Robert married Celia NANCE and they had several children, including my
great-grandfather George Henry b. 1866 in Abbeville, who married Mary
THOMAS, born 1869. 

Other children by Robert and Celia were Harry, "Babe," Mannie? and a few more.

George Henry CLINKSCALES and Mary THOMAS' Children were Theodore (my
grandfather), Harry, Henry, John Arthur, Fannie Mae, Robert and several
others.  

They were all born in Abbeville, SC but then George Henry and his wife and
several of his children moved to Youngstown, Ohio
in the early 1900's.  Both he and his wife Mary Thomas died in 1928.

Any information on both the white or black CLINKSCALES, NANCE AND THOMAS in
Abbeville and Anderson County SC, particularly before George Henry's birth
in 1866 would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.
