My Christopher was a Captain in the service of the Governor of VA
during the
1600's and ran missions between the Gov. and the Indians. Christopher
taught
at the U. of William and Mary in it's infancy in 1696 until his death
in 1716, this has been confirmed by the University staff. His
children were Christopher, Charles and Ambrose Joshua SMITH.
I would love to hear from some other members of this family.
