Christ Church Parish was a triangle of land
wedged between the Atlantic and the Wando River, just up the coast from
central Charleston, up to the SeeWee River. As far as I know, Christ
Church Parish still exists, although without the firm geographical
boundaries of the colonial parishes. St. Thomas and St. Denis is
immediately inland from Christ Church; you often find families on both
sides of the Wando (both parishes).
