Hartwell Jones married Mary Sloan "Polly" Stribling.  They lived in the
Pendleton District of South Carolina.  They had 13 children:  Sarah
Catherine Jones m. Michael Berry McGee, Hartwell Jones, Elizabeth Jones,
William Jones, Adam Jones, Mary Jones, Thomas H. Jones, David Jones,
Lucinda J. Jones, Rebecca C. Jones, Nancy Jones, Martha M. Jones, and
Matilda C. Jones.

Just prior to 1850s, Hartwell & Mary Sloan "Polly" Jones were in Atlanta,
Georgia (Cobb County) and according to the information I have,  Mary died
July 13, 1847 in Atlanta.  Hartwell died sometime after 1850 in Atlanta,
GA.
