Where were your Taylors? I have Aaron Taylor, b NC m Rutherford Co TN came
to Jefferson Co., AL about 1818. Some think that Aaron's parents were
James and Sarah Taylor. James died Rutherford Co., TN. One Sarah died

Hi,
I have a Catherine Chicken, parents unknown, who m. Benjamin Simmons born
September 10, 1737 Charleston County, SC d. September 7, 1789 Charleston
County, SC. It's listed at LDS, I believe. I have Simmons and I have the
copied page from the book but it seem I have not entered it in the
computer.
I suppose this Catherine was bc 1740.
Another wife was Elizabeth Alston, also bc 1740. They had a child Sarah
Lydia
Simmons b 1782 that m. Jonathan Lucas, II of the Lucas rice plantation.
Hope I am correct with the dates. Just wanted you to know the Chicken's
did
exist.

Joy
