John's first wife unknown but had Mary b ca 1808 SC and William b 1815 (his death listed in the Fishing Creek Presbyterian Church Records) in 1816. William & John M.K. migrated on to Dallas Co, AL ca 1817. John M.K.'s second wife was Jannet Nelson b ca 1791 SC (some of her brothers were John, David and James Nelson).
