I have copied a few pages from the Orphan House Records (1800-1900). If
I'm not mistaken records are kept at the SC Archives. There are two
books on records from 1800-1900 found at the Charleston County Library
and the Historical Society. I think I read where the SC Archives will
have their Grand Re-Opening (from their move) this coming Sat, the 23rd
of May. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong. I'm writing off the top
of my head (a very dangerous place)!
