Charleston City Burial Grould - Edgar Taylor
Subject: Charleston City Burial Grould

I have just received from a cousin a brief listing in the form of a page
From a table of interments 12th to the 19th April 1840 in Charleston. On
this page is listed my ancestor Mrs. Ann Williams. It indicates that she was
interred in <>, which I take to be <>.

Is this burial ground familiar to anyone? Where is/was it located? Does it
still exist? There is a tradition in the family that Ann's grave was one of
a number paved over years ago.

My cousin received this information from someone else, and could not say
where such a list of interments would be found in Charleston. Does anyone
know where these records are located? How early do these listings start?

Thanks for any information anyone can supply.

Happy Holidays to all the <>. Ed T of PGH
