Edward Dawson married Mary Jones about 1875 in Charleston.  They are my
great-grandparents.  I have some information on Mary Jones, but none on
Edward Dawson.  I checked the census, but it appears to say that he came
From Ireland.  My mother said that the Dawsons were an old family in
Charleston.  I don't know which one is correct!  Can anyone help trace
his ancestry?
