My ggf James C. Chambers lived on the Savannah River at Harper's Ferry, just
across from Lowndesville, SC in Abbeville.  He died in 1911 and was buried at
Ridge Methodist Church in Lowndesville.  His children lived in SC, Abbeville
and Anderson Counties, He had a wife Elizabeth Hannah Chambers who was 24yrs
his junior, so she probably lived into the 1930's or 40's.  His children's
names were Henry, Noah, Annie (Williams), Thomas, James, George, Lee, and
Minnie (Brown).  I need to know if anyone knows of Elizabeth Hannah - where
she may have lived after 1911, where she is buried, etc.  James was a member
of the 55th Inf Co. B (out of Greene Co).  He may have been born there in
1837.  Anyone have information concerning this or about his first wife Sarah
Busby, please contact me.
