Subject: Cemetery near Brown's Ferry on Black River, SC From: Patti Date: April 21, 1998 "This stone marks the site of a church erected at Brown's Ferry in 1726. For 8 years the Parish Church of Prince George Winyah, hence removed to Georgetown. The Parish of Prince Frederick's being set off in 1734, it became Prince Frederick's Church, removed 100 years later to the Pee Dee River." This marker placed here by the Society of Colonial Wars in the State of SC, 1941. Listed below is the names that I have from this cemetery.
