Know there are numerous spellings...and believe we all descend from Henri CABINIS....BUT, ... most interested in the spelling CAVINESS/CAVENESS/CAVANESS. Espcially interested in this family in/or around the Laurens Co, SC area...late 1700's and early 1800's... Our CAVANESS line settled in NW..TN and S.ILL ...(Union CO.)
