'm looking for the following families who are tangled up in a perplexing
"web" ... 

Seeking some CATHEYs .. ERWIN/IRWINs ... KENNEDYs and  ... WEBBs who were
thought to be in Rowan and Mecklenburg Co.NC (and perhaps a few other
counties in NC...as the county lines & changed often over the years) and in
York Co.SC (parts of which included Mecklenburg NC and other "districts &
counties" of SC at various times).  

The ERWIN/IRWINs & KENNEDYs:  Alexander Samuel ERWIN married Priscilla WEBB
in York Co.(1798), had two children in York Co., SC then moved to Maury
Co., TN. Their first born child, James Erwin married "Peggy KENEDY" Feb. 28
1816, Maury Co., TN(Peggy's parents unknown).  Alexander & Priscilla's
daughter, Elizabeth Moody Erwin married Thomas WEBB Oct. 27, 1820 in Maury
Co., TN.  
QUESTION:  Who were Peggy Kenedy's parents?  Who were Thomas Webb's parents?




James ERWIN (s/o Alexander Samuel & Priscilla [WEBB] Erwin) 
married Peggy KENEDY Feb. 28, 1816 (in Maury, TN).  I do not know the
parents of Peggy Kenedy, but I have a photocopy of a letter written in
1822, referencing a Mrs. Kenady - and I think it might be her mother. The
letter was written by Thomas WEBB to his brother-in-law, James Erwin.  This
Thomas Webb married James Erwin's sister, Elizabeth Erwin.
 

To confuse the ERWIN & KENNEDY line even further.  A separate JAMES ERWIN
(born abt 1785 in NC, parents unknown at this time) married Jane/Jeannie
KENNEDY (born abt 1785 NC? .. parents were Alexander and M.Elizabeth
[Cathey] Kennedy).  I am seeking information on Alexander Kennedy's family
.. who were they?

I would like to hear from anyone researching the Kennedy family, maybe a
few of the names from the letter would be a clue for you, or you might be able
to help me with my Kennedy puzzle.
