Carter Ford Church is located on SC 21 between Lodge, SC, and Smoaks, SC, in
Colleton County. This is just about where a "finger" of Bamberg County
intrudes into Colleton County. My SC County map does not show Carter's
Ford Swamp. Maybe this will help.
