My wife Yvonne Smoak is the daughter of Walter Jetson Smoak 1909-1937 and Mary
Aileen Ethridge 1912. Walter was the son of Walter F. Smoak and Nellie
Ackerman.  Aileen was the daughter of David Dukes and Nellie Ackerman.  These
families lived in Cope SC.  Walter Jetson died when Yvonne was 18 months old
and Aileen remarried Jasper Jeffers and moved to Holly Hill SC.  Yvonne grew
up in Cross SC.

Do you have any information on this Smoak and Dukes families that you could
share.
