My Ancestors: Alexander Carlisle, 1790 census in Prince Fredericks Parish, (Williamsburg Co. area). Received land grant for 700 acres. in Berkeley Co. in 1812. Dead before 1817. He married Mary Winter, daughter of Hugh S. Winter. Mary d. after 1840, bef.1850. in MS. Three sons: Alexander Carlile, 1830 census, d. bef 1836 in SC.
