Sarah,I am interested in Nathaniel Marion because he appears to be living with or on the same property with Mary Carlile in the 1820 St.Johns-Berkeley-Charleston census close to the Nelson
Ferry Road and he has the same name as my g-g-grandfather David Nathaniel Carlile. He is listed in the 1800 and 1810 census, but in the 1820 census he is listed above Mary Carlile with no
people in the column after his name(not even himself).Mary is in the next column down with nine people. He is not in the 1830 census but David is there.I do not find a Martha Marion, but do
find a M.Marion in Charleston in the 1830 census.Where did your Nathaniel live? I also find other Marion close by..Fred.

Fred, I am really interested in Nathaniel Marion. Do you are anyone out there have information on him? One Nathaniel Marion was brother to my ancestress Martha Wickham Marion.
