You're in a great location.......the LA Central Library has some 
abstracts and the LDS library on Santa Monica Blvd...they have all the 
old land records on microfilm...you may have to order them...but the 
index is there so you can check which ones you need...probably related 
we're trying to sort them all out...some went to TN, MS, AR and AL from 
SC...my line went to TN...Charlotte

How do you access land records in SC when you are in La.Years ago I 
lived
next door to a coats family in Baton Rouge,La.Any relation?Fred.
