Hello Everyone, My name is Yancey Watkins.  For the past eight years I have
been immersed in genealogy.  These names above are from my wife's side of the
family.  Her name is Marion C. Cantey.  We have gathered a lot of Cantey
material but have not been able to go back any further than the marriage of
Joseph Cantey, Jr., Susannah Harrington on May 10, 1805.  Their son John J.
Cantey married Mary Evans.  The Evans family appears several times in our
records the oldest being Ethelred abt 1750.  Our earliest Baker was Squire who
married Polly Byrd about 1820.  Thomas Watts was born about 1740 and this is
far back as we have on this line.
Would like to hear from genealogists researching this names.
