Seeking anyone who is researching the BUTLER surname in Pickens Dist.,SC
and in particular, MOSES BUTLER, born SC about 1796. He was shown on the
1830 US Census in Pickens, a few pages from AARON BUTLER, on the same
1830 census.
In 1840, Moses has crossed the state line into Jackson County, N.C., and
is found there in 1850, also. The 1850 US Census gives this data on his
family:

	Samuel L. "	 6 mw			"
	Matilda   "	 4 fw			"
The AARON Butler , age 23, is my Great-gr-grandfather. I am seeking
other researchers for this family. I have several other census entries
for this family in Jackson County, in 1860.
Did father, Moses Butler , die in the early 1850s?
