I am extracting an email I did to another list.  I am interested in sharing
information with anyone about these families.
Busby- Busbee- Winn in Lexington, South Carolina

I am looking at the Accelerated Index for 1820.  I seem to have quite a few
Busby's but I am not sure I copied down everyone. Maybe just the names I was
interested in.
We had heard that all the Central Georgia Busby- Busbees might
be related.  I go back to two different Busby's:
Lillian Busby ( b SC about 1800)  married to John Johnson (born Tenn)
                and
William Reese Busby (b SC before 1780) married Mary Winn (born SC before
1790)
Looking at the AIS, year 1820-  I see a
Reevs Busby in Fairfield County, SC and a
William Busby, Edgefield Co. SC
Elisha Busby,  Newberry Co. SC
and then
>From Lexington, SC
Demsey Busbee
Elisha Busbee
Fedrick Busbee
Hampton Busbee
Jacob Busbee
Mary Busbee
Nathaniel Busbee
Nedham Busbee
Reace Busbee
This to me looks like it could be the combined families of Central Georgia
Bibb, Crawford and Houston Counties.  This whole family is from South
Carolina, shown on the AIS  and the names Needham and Hampton turn up in
Lillian Busby Johnson's descendants.
Hampton, Demsey and Jacob stayed in South Carolina.

I don't  have any information on the Lexington South Carolina
Busbee's, and will share with anyone who is interested in some of the
descendants.Thanks for any help offered.
