Sorry about that inadequate answer.  This Bull Swamp cemetery is about ten
miles northwest of Orangeburg, SC, thirty five miles southwest of Columbia,
and about 100 miles southeast of Abbeville.  The old 96 District is between
Bull Swamp and Abbeville.  Bull Swamp church was on one of the early trails
From Orangeburgh to Ninety Six, and followed the north side of the North
Edisto river.  There was another parallel trail on the south side of the
river that was actually called the "Ninety-six Trail".  Early residents of
the Ninety-Six District would very possibly have used one of these two
trails in travelling to and from Charleston.
