My name is Sherry and I am researching my husband's Bonneau line. They come we believe from St. Nazaire, France or as his death registration said from Nantes France. On his death papers it stated that because one of his step sons wrote it in and just assumed that was where he was from. Further research indicates that it was most likely St. Nazaire, France.

We are right now looking for:

Marcel-Louis-Marie-Alexandre Bonneau( however we have come to find out that in France it was spelled Bonnaud)

Marcel we believe was born 11 October 1899 or 1900 in St Nazaire, France. To Louis Bonneau and Jeanne Lecary.


Marcel immigrated to Quebec,Canada in 1918, where he married Germaine Seers on the 21 May 1919 at the St. Apotre Parish, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Marcel and germaine owned a Strawberry Farm in Florida, USA during 1920-1924 because we have a picture there during that time period. We do not know where in Florida the farm was located.

I would love to connect with Bonneau (Bonnaud) family or anyone else researching this line. We have not been able to locate a birth certificate for Marcel in France so we suspect that his birthdate is wrong.
