My Great Grandfather is Jacob "Jake" Newton Skipper, b. Nov. 22, 1862, d. 
Oct. 10, 1950, in Spalding Co., GA, buried in Old Section, Oak Hill Cemetery, 
Griffin, GA, m. Frances "Fannie" Oliff Moody.

"Jake" has a sister, Fannie, who married a Hines.  They lived in Columbus, 
GA.  He had a sister Mary who was never married, who also lived in Columbus, 
GA.  He had a brother Green Skipper.

I don't know who their parents were.  "Jake' and "Fannie" had ten children:  
William "Archie" Archer; Mary Della; Aaron F.; Charlie Clifford "Cliff"; Ira 
W.; Eva Essie; James Hulette; Little Raymond; and Little Herman.

I have been told that my Great Grandfather "Jake" moved to Griffin, Spalding 
County, Georgia, from Columbus, Muscogee County, GA.   If any of these name 
are familiar to you, will be glad to share what I know about my Skipper and 
Moody lines.
