I have Anna Berwic ELLIS b. 1879 SC. Trying to find out where the BERWIC
fits in, whether or not it was a family name. Anna's parents were:

Joseph Samuel ELLIS; b. 1843 in SC.
Louise SLYER; b. 1854 in Chas, SC.

I am hoping this was a maternal name, since I only have a possiblity for
her grandfather being Henry SLYER with an unknown grandmother.
