Dear Franklin researchers:

We have found the evidence that a Benjamin Franklin was living c. 1800
near the townships of Johnston & Ward in Edgefield co., SC. We have
found no list of his children.  We suspect that he had a daughter Mary
born c. 1800. We have one document stating that a Mary Franklin married
James Temple Jr. and had James the thier in 1820. We suspect that she
died after giving birth to her second child, Seabron Temples. later in
the 1840 cnesus, a Benjamin Franklin is found living with a Mary
Temple(Seabron's second wife Mary ann Claxton).  We are trying to find
more evidence of the marriage and her parents.
