explain why some of you may not have been getting the mail, or why you may have
been unexpectedly unsubscribed.

I haven't seen this happen today, but I've had this problem many times with
bellsouth.net.  (In fact, all of the Baby Bells seem to provide dismal Internet
service.)  We just have to wait for BellSouth to get their collective act
together.  It's a shame for the subscribers, but there's not much that we can do
about it.
