I have located records of Barnwell BEARD below, but
wondering if the other two BEARDS could be related. Anyone
have info on "JW" and "W" ?

J W; 11th Res. Co. L
W; 11th Res. Co. A


B(arnwell) BEARD enlisted in the Confederate Army June 15,
1862 in Colleton Co. by A. Campbell for a period of 3 years.
Found on the Muster Roll of Co. K, 11th Reg't. (9th S.C.
Vol.) South Carolina Infantry as a Private, and also served
Co. B 3rd SC Cavalry (also known as 2nd SC Cavalry and
Colcock's - formerly 8th Batt'l. SC Cav.)

Anyone have BEARDS from the Colleton/Chas. areas,  or in
these units?
