Rachel Sotroe married Jacob Foreman by 1788 in the Barnwell area. Rachel was
left land by Glodes Sotroe. Glodes Sotroe must have died late in 1789 or
early 1790 and hence, isn't on the 1790 census. I would like to know if
Glodes Sotroe was Rachel's father and if there were other family members.
I haven't been able to find the origin of the name Glodes or Sotroe, and I
would appreciate even knowing the national origin of the names.
I haven't found any Sotroes other than these two anywhere. Any help would be
appreciated.
