Furman University has Microfilm of Baptist Records.

Rev. James Smart is my ancestor. I have a copy of the church membership
roll but it begins after Rev. Smart's death. There are no Carridine,
Collins or Odam listed so they must have left before 1800. No Parkers.

Does anyone know of any records anywhere of the Baptist Church in
Coosawhatchie during the time that James Smart was pastor (1759-1788)?

Mary was the daughter of Abraham ODAM, and the widow of John COLLINS. Parker
and Mary were married in S.C., and later moved to Mississippi.
