Ball in margin) 28 Feb 1775; 300 acres when runnout in Mecklenburg Co NC
on a ridge between Turkey Creek and Fishing Creek Originally granted by
his Excellency Arthur Dobbs Esqr.,then Gov of NC to Richard Baal,the
memorialist 16 Nov 1764;but by a late survey,now falls in S Carolina in
Craven County John Fondren{13-359;1;
