Hi Melba,
The Askew/Haskew name can be very confusing. There are a lot of people
working on similar lines, and I thought you might like to contact them
yourself.

There was an Askew line and an Haskew line in Marlboro Co.,SC in the
mid-seventeen hundreds. One John Askew was a Rev. War patriot. His wife
was Ruth Pearson and his children were two sons named John, Jr. and Jesse.
I do not think I have ever seen a Robert Askew, but there are many gaps we
have not filled yet. The names I have shared with you are folks working on
the Askew/Haskew line further West. (Ala, ARk, Tex)

Good luck.
