Subject: Re: Article on Boykin's Millpond drowning From: IRIS11111 Date: April 15, 1998 What a terrible accident! It's articles like this that always make me wonder what our ancestors' feelings about life and death must have been. Life seems to have been more tenuous then, with fewer ways to save the sick, the injured, and accident victims like these. I always imagine the horror those left must have felt, followed by this community resolve to go on. What else could they have done? Thanks so much for typing this up.
