Subject: ANOTHER LAND GRANT From: Romen3 Date: April 09, 1999 My ancestors must have liked water: This land was granted to John Thames, Jr. 1000 acres of land located in Sumter District, Clarendon County, on Jack's Creek called big branch waters of the Santee River bounded by lines running N. E. to West by John Thames, William Brunson Land S.W. by H. Richburg. S.E. by Unity Boshetts.
