I've been lurking for a while but have now decided to 'take the plunge'. 

I am a descendant of William Russ (DOB c 1735 in Bladen Co., NC/DOD c
1814 in Bladen Co., NC) and his wife named Ann.  I have been looking for
Ann's last name for a long, long time.  

There is a record that Ann Russ was mentioned in the Will of Thomas
Leper, dated 1719, of Bath County, NC.  I have not been able to secure a
copy of this will -- or determine what relation Ann Russ is to Thomas
Leper.  I am hoping that someone can help me.

Does anyone out there recognize Thomas Leper?  Or Ann Russ?  Or can
anyone secure a copy of this will of Thomas Leper's for me?  I will
gladly reimburse expenses for this.....if only someone could help me out
here.  (beg, beg)  

I have LOTS of information on William Russ' descendants and ancestors --
and would be happy to share with any other cousin out there, if anyone's
interested.  I would truly appreciate any help on Ann that anyone
would/could give.
